Mind Your Isolation – knowing where you are in periods of isolation is essential for emotional, physical, mental and spiritual growth

Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire;he breaks out against all sound judgment – Proverbs 18:1 ESV

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused many people to isolate themselves from societal norms and without a definitive end date. Some have stored enough food supply and toiletries for at least 6 months, and have headed to a distant land, far away from the spread of the virus.

Many remained in their primary residences (house and apartment) however, they have disconnected from their normal routines and fellow humans.

Isolation whether voluntary or involuntary is a volatile insult against the human race for an extended period of time.  God has called us into existence to cohabitate and to build the kingdom of God.

At the beginning of the Bible, Genesis 1:28, the Lord said to be fruitful and multiply, however, in Genesis 9:7, He reiterated the same and added to it – “And you, be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it.”

INCREASE GREATLY ON THE EARTH

If we’re to increase greatly on the earth, it is obvious that laborers must be present to help with the harvest,   If we’re going to be fruitful in the birthing process, whether people or products, we’re going to need helping hands.  Certainly, the Lord requires periods of isolation (prayer, meditation, sleep) for undivided communication and for impartation between God and humans.  However, knowing the length of time God desires is essential for spiritual growth.  There are some temperaments that require a short period of isolation and some longer periods, however, all isolation periods should not exceed the bounds tolerable by the temperament.

Isolation in Temperament for example:

If you are a Sanguine in temperament and you generally thrive on being in the company of others, and your period of isolation should be short-lived.  It is essential that you frequently connect with others.

For the Choleric in temperament, it is essential that you isolate to reflect, however, stay it is essential that you stay connected to others.  More importantly, it is important that you control the things you cannot control.  What do I mean?  Since you cannot control the lives of others, it is extremely important that you minimize your exposure to the chaos in others, I.e. news and gossiping.

Melancholy, because you operate best in periods of isolation, it is essential that you hear from the Lord, regarding the length of time for isolation.  Always remembering that you are existing to coexist to build the kingdom.

Supines, as you may already know because you thrive from helping others, isolation hinders your connection and your talent.  Therefore, it is highly unlikely that the Lord would cause you to be in isolation for a long period of time.  You are invited to check back in and bring the beauty of your countenance into the atmosphere.

Since a Phlegmatic operates on low energy, it is highly unlikely that God would expend most of their energy in isolation.  I urge you to speak to God and know where He needs you in the kingdom.  Stay connected knowing that your time must be budgeted.

Although we all need periods of isolation, extended periods can be detrimental to our emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual growth.  I encourage you today to reach out and connect with someone, knowing that your connection is priceless and will add life to yourself and others.

Prayer for those in insolation

Father God, you value isolation for the impartation of your blessings.  You value isolation because it is a time spent with you for growth instruction. Lord, lead show the one in isolation the time period in which to be alone and the times in which to stay connected.  Lord, we know that you value Human to human connection because you have called us to be fruitful and multiply and that approach is a team approach.  Lord, whatever it is you Desire today, lead us in a clear path of understanding so that we may operate in your divine wisdom.  Father, open the door of communication for the one who is alone and don’t know how to connect.  Bless them with someone to connect with, to converse, and to share their needs and their wants. Bless with another to be fruitful and multiply in every way you desire. Amen.

When we go to our knowing and not our feelings, we will begin to see that God is with us and our doubt has no weight to keep us from knowing that God goes Beyond Companionship.

’for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’ Deuteronomy 20:4 NKJV

Beyond the Doubt – allows you to look at your doubts and know that the solution goes beyond what you’re feeling or thinking.

Sometimes when we’re going through a difficult situation, we wonder if God is present.  We wonder if God is seeing the difficulties in our lives and is doing something about it.   As difficult as it may be to believe that God is with you, it is imperative that you annihilate your opposing doubt, with knowing.  Believing that God is with you and will not forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6)  Believe that God is going to stay the course during any battle that you may encounter because the Lord will not go back on his word.  His word that promised that He will go with you in any battle that is threatening to oppress or destroy you.  The Lord will go with you, however, not simply to accompany you for the journey, but to accompany you against the hand of the enemy (Deuteronomy 20:4).

Beyond the Position – looking beyond your position and focusing on your purpose

The Lord will do anything for you because you are His, and He is yours.  The Lord desires to have a passionate, personal, and productive relationship with you.  His relationship with you is beyond Him positioning you. His relationship with you is designed to build you and to pave the path for perpetual living, even after you have transitioned from this life.

Believing in Prayer : Knowing that prayer changes things, because prayer reaches God’s ears.

Lord, have your way with me.  I give you my life because I know that you are walking and guiding me. Thank you for your divine presence and for going into battle against the enemy on my behalf. I know that you are battling for on my behalf, even in times unbeknown to me.  Lord bless my life, as it is pleasing unto to you.

The Hidden Face of Evil – Evil lurks its ugly head and often times we miss it because we’re too busy. Spiritual awareness keeps us in tune and grants the wisdom to act accordingly.

For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land. In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there – Psalm 37:9-10 ESV

Awareness of Evil Doings

When we reflect on our lives, most of us would attest, that we had an encounter with someone who expressed sheer evil.  In that moment of time, it seems like the evil person will reign forever.  As we endured the temptation to lose ourselves and express greater evil, there was a force that kept us calm, at that moment in time.  As we kept our cool, the evil person disappeared., but soon after, another level of evil presented in the midst of us.  We wondered why again, and we questioned what have we done to deserve this?  It is only then that we realized that God was really trying to teach us to be aware that evil really does exist.  As we pondered further on the why question, we realized that God was teaching us to exercise patience.  We realized that God was exercising our faith.

God Grants Spiritual Awareness by Faith

As God grants spiritual awareness, there is a realization, that the cunning ways that evil is presenting around us have been exposed. There is also an awareness that unsuspecting victims can be its host.  As we mature in faith, we know that God is reminding us, that we have something of value that the enemy wants to take (John 10:8-10), our soul salvation.  In that knowing, we continue to press forward in faith, knowing that God is able to keep us from stumbling and falling (Jude 1:24).

Prayer For the Power to Withstand Evil Doings

Our Father, who art in heaven.  The God who never slumbers nor sleeps.  I call upon You this day because you are the Enabler of purpose.  You give wisdom, you give enough strength to operate in each day and time.  Even in the time of the evil one.  Even in the time of evil agendas, and evil systems.  You have the power to pull down strongholds.  Lord, I pray for such power today.  I pray that you will lead and guide me in all wisdom and teach me your ways.  Thank you, Lord, for this blessing. In Jesus’ name Amen!

Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.  For our heart shall rejoice in Him – Psalm 33:20-21a NKJV

We are on pause all around the world.  Some people see it as punishment, being in isolation; while others see it as a a

time of incubation, in preparation of what is to come.  It is good to look at our situation with positivity and possibilities, instead of negativity and a nothing good attitude.  Both sideS of the coin is right.  Those who choose the negative and nothing good, will get exactly that, a hearty dose of negativity nothing good.  Those who choose positivity and possibilities, will get exactly that, a hearty dose of positivity and possibilities.  The choiceS are there for the choosing.

God gives us the will to choose which side of the coin we desire.  He Has called E

each of us to take the choice that glorifies His kingdom.  While standing in hope and believing in faith that He will guide us in the way of His power and possibilities.  Those condoning a negative mindset, is always presented with the opportunity to change course, if they desire change. To change by intentionally shifting their mindset to inhabit a positive attitude and working to see the manifestation of possibilities come to life.   This time of incubation is not a time to be stuck, but instead it’s a time of will, a will for prosperity and possibilities. A will to prosper in imagination for great creationS.

Prayer Focus:  Lord, I bring my state of mind to your attention, because I desire that my mindset and my will, be guided to focus on the things of You.  Things that are lovely and will make living here on earth a better place.  Things that will bring a brighter  tomorrow.  Lord speak to me and guide me in your path in this time of incubation, so that this time will be prosperous with great creationS..

Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving – Colossians 2:7 AMPC

Sometimes we get out of sought and unbalanced, not knowing where our feet are planted and the direction in which to tread upon. But, Isn’t it good to know that when these pondering questions come into our being that we can know without a doubt that the Lord has already established the plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11). He has a plan that can’t be easily be erased. This plan would nag at our being in hopes to get some acknowledgment. In hopes to accomplish what we were destined to complete.

Every day, our plans are screaming out to us in agony, in fear of imminent danger of extinction. As you look at your life and for some, it is out of balance. Think about the purposes that are left unfulfilled. Think about souls that are hanging in the balance, waiting for you to do your part. As you proceed, think about where your help comes from, your help comes from the Lord (Psalm 121). Since your help comes from the Lord, know that you are able to do more than you imagine is possible for you to accomplish.

Prayer Focus: Father God, our Divine Deliverer, and Saviour, we have come into Your midst for Your tender mercy. Lord, have mercy upon us. Whatever is unbalanced or misaligned, restore it to its rightful place. Lord, know that our rightful place belongs with You. Our work is for your glory. Lord, bless the work of our hands. Amen!

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me (John 17:20-23.)

In this powerful prayer, Jesus is praying for all believers.  He is praying for the ones who believe that all things are possible through Him, the ones that believe in His power.  Those who are reliant upon the strength of the Lord, the ones who inhabit His Spirit. It is certainly good to know that Abba Father prayed for us.  Prayer is an expression of communication between believers and God.  I am amazed that more Believers fail to pray without ceasing because there is power in the communication to God (2 Chronicles 7:14).  Why would God instruct us to pray without ceasing if He had no plans to respond? Yes, the God who has answered prayers every time that prayer reaches Him.  Why doubt? Because prayer is not answered in the desired timeframe, know that all prayers that are aligned with God’s plans are answered.  Jesus prayed for Himself and continued that praying to God the Father in a petition for all Believers here on earth.

“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.  O, righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You, and these have known that You sent Me.  And I have declared to them Your name and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:24-26

When we pray for others it blesses them.  Whether or not they are aware of our petition, prayer changes their situation (1 Peter 3:12).  Therefore, it behooves us to pray without ceasing as God commanded, knowing that there’s power in the words that we proclaim to God.

Prayer: Abba Father, here I am, would you hear my petition today and see about the needs of the names that I cry out to You in prayer.  Lord while You are seeing about their needs, see about their souls.  Lord help them to know the magnitude and power of love for them.  A love that died for them.  Lord,  I love you with all of my heart and I cry out to You Abba.  Amen

‘If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment,[c] or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before you—for your name is in this house—and cry out to you in our affliction, and you will hear and save – 2 Chronicles 20:9

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world, and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24:1).  It is good to know that the world belongs to God.  Sometimes we forget that we are only stewards called to care for what belongs to God.  The Lord is the authentic owner, and we have been called to give of ourselves to care for what was given to us, to reap and to be sustained.  There is no limitation in the land, but many have hoarded the resources, causing lack and deficit in many regions on the earth.  The Lord gives in abundance for the benefit of his people both near and far.  God has packaged and delivered the resources for us to distribute in real-time so that there would be something of value for everyone who dwells on the earth.  God sees the thief that is set on taking what does not belong to His children.

Since God is the landlord over all, He has the power to dismantle any judgment that is to destroy what belongs to him.  Therefore, we cry out to God over this Coronavirus pestilence that has been established to destroy.  We have the authority to come against anything, including this virus that is threatening our health, threatening our livestock, threatening our economy, and threatening every blessing from the Lord.  God has given us the eyes to see the disaster in the land, and there is no excuse why we should continue in our own ways.  The Lord, have positioned us to repent of our ways that are not aligned with His ways.

Prayer: Lord I call upon you to address anything that threatens the livelihood of Your people.  I repent of anything that I have done against you and call into my spirit the power to follow Your ways.  Lord, thank you for seeing the needs of Your people.  Feed the hungry, restore the broken, comfort the mourner, bless the jobless, shelter the homeless, and make right every heart that is in need of love, your love.  Lord, thank you for this unstoppable blessing, In Jesus name, AMEN.

Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the
wilderness And rivers in the desert – Isaiah 43:19 NKJV

See the Lord making a way in the wilderness for you.
See Him enabling you to do what you thought was impossible
to accomplish. He has done it before and He has the power to do
it again.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for moving all doubts aside and allowing
the spirit of faith to consume my being. Lord, I trust and believe
that you are all-powerful and will grant me the strength to press
on. Thank you for the power to move forward.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. – Eph 2:4-5

Oftentimes, we stand ready to condemn others because of the error of their ways, forgetting that we too have erred, more than once.  It is easy to point the finger away from self, knowing very well that the finger should be curved in the opposite direction.  Before pointing the finger, let’s look to God, who leads by example.  He gives grace and mercy to correct and to transform.  As we journey this life and sees another erring, simple think, how can I help in correcting this problem, but more so, how can I bring transformation to this situation?

Prayer:  Lord helps me to look away from chastising and look towards transforming.  Working to help others despite their transgressions, to bring healing to the spirit and the nation.  Lord thank you for an open heart that is open to your divine guidance.

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good – Genesis 1:31a NKJV

God Our Father, created, so that we may follow in His path and be creative. He has declared that anything that was made by Him is good. Expressing a great appreciation for Creation. Whatever you create today, appreciate it, even if others don’t, bind up their negativity quickly, because you have labored over and have poured your blessings into it. Therefore, appreciate it and innovate it, if you care to. Every day, we are creating beauty, and beauty has a place on this earth. Affirm it and call it GOOD.

Our Father, give me an appreciation for the things that were created and will be created through me. Lord, guide and lead me in a path of wisdom and understanding the depths of my creation. Everything that I’ve created, I call it GOOD. Everything that I’ll ever create, I call it GOOD. I pray that my creation will be a blessing to those who receive it.
