STRENGTH FOR TODAY, STRENGTH FOR TOMORROW, AND STRENGTH FOREVERMORE.

What a wonderful blessing it is to know that the Lord gives us enough strength, not just for today, but for every day that we require strength to carry on. At times, life’s obstacles hit us hard, and the enemy’s hope is for us to forget that we have enough strength to endure and succumb to his plans. However, this strength that God gives us, allows us to bounce back whole, from pain, from disappointment and from many trials that we will encounter in this life. This powerful verse in Ephesians gives further clarity about the strength of the Lord.

Ephesians 3:16-17 ESV
that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith-that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

This scripture reminds us that the strength that God gives, comes with power in which we are able to tap into at any time. It is a power source that is connected to the Spirit that is within our inner being.  The power of God comes with the love of Jesus Christ, who first loved us, by His death burial and resurrection (John 19:20-38:9). A sacrifice that is greater than any other love that we know. By this belief, we are heirs to the kingdom of heaven.

In times when we’re feeling weak, and we’re feeling fed up with life, we can communicate our concerns to Christ who first saved us. When we communicate by faith, through prayer and petition, and authenticity of the spirit, the Lord hears our prayers. The Lord is happy to a community with us through prayer and supplication (Philippians 4:6-8 KJV) and He will answer. (Jeremiah 33:3) Our, Lord doesn’t desire that we remain in a state of brokenness. Instead, He wants us to be filled with an abundance of joy, despite our situation. In closing, I leave you this prayer, that you could pray as your own to God.
