It is so easy for us to fall into the trap of doing good for others,
Especially, when eyes are spot on, because most of us want others
to appreciate or to speak highly of us. Let’s face it, everybody needs
a little affirmation, it feeds the human spirit. But be aware that the good
that you’re doing for eye-service, has the potential to diminish the good that your
heart ️ intended to do. Do good for goodness sake.
Prayer Focus: Father, you know my heart, and it is my desire to do good to help another. It is not my intent to be self-centered, but it’s my intent to join you for the equipping of the saints. Lord, stir my heart and show me where I’m needed so that I’ll know where to focus my help. #dogood #dogod
