‘If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment,[c] or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before you—for your name is in this house—and cry out to you in our affliction, and you will hear and save – 2 Chronicles 20:9

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world, and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24:1).  It is good to know that the world belongs to God.  Sometimes we forget that we are only stewards called to care for what belongs to God.  The Lord is the authentic owner, and we have been called to give of ourselves to care for what was given to us, to reap and to be sustained.  There is no limitation in the land, but many have hoarded the resources, causing lack and deficit in many regions on the earth.  The Lord gives in abundance for the benefit of his people both near and far.  God has packaged and delivered the resources for us to distribute in real-time so that there would be something of value for everyone who dwells on the earth.  God sees the thief that is set on taking what does not belong to His children.

Since God is the landlord over all, He has the power to dismantle any judgment that is to destroy what belongs to him.  Therefore, we cry out to God over this Coronavirus pestilence that has been established to destroy.  We have the authority to come against anything, including this virus that is threatening our health, threatening our livestock, threatening our economy, and threatening every blessing from the Lord.  God has given us the eyes to see the disaster in the land, and there is no excuse why we should continue in our own ways.  The Lord, have positioned us to repent of our ways that are not aligned with His ways.

Prayer: Lord I call upon you to address anything that threatens the livelihood of Your people.  I repent of anything that I have done against you and call into my spirit the power to follow Your ways.  Lord, thank you for seeing the needs of Your people.  Feed the hungry, restore the broken, comfort the mourner, bless the jobless, shelter the homeless, and make right every heart that is in need of love, your love.  Lord, thank you for this unstoppable blessing, In Jesus name, AMEN.
